Netflix is increasing its subscription prices in the UK, this follows similar hikes in other countries. Standard plans without ads will rise by £2 to £12.99 per month, Premium plans will go up by £1 to £18.99, and ad-supported Standard plans will increase by £1 to £5.99. Fees for adding extra members are also rising. The changes will take effect on each subscriber’s billing date, with new customers already on the new price since February 6. Netflix justifies the increase by citing continued investment in content.
